a biannual herb known to be rich in vitamins A, B and C with the minerals iodine, magnesium and iron. It has flattened, dark green leaves which can be used to flavour salads, sauces, butters and soups.
After Harvest: Adding garnish or flavour to hot and cold dishes.
Position: Full sun, part shade.
Planting: 30cm apart.
Maturity: 6-12 weeks seasonally dependent.
