Little Gem is a new type of lettuce, halfway between a Cos and a hearting lettuce. The dark green leaves conceal a crisp, solid heart. Pick the outer leaves or use the heart.
After Harvest: Salads, garnishes and sandwiches.
Position: Full sun.
Planting: 15cm apart.
Maturity: 8-10 weeks.
